I found the article on Trump boosting Ai k-12 relevant to this course. Im all for it, I realize AI is here to stay, and will be a huge development in tech, education, infrastructure etc. With this bill passing we will see Ai being implemented into education. We all know these kids are going to abuse the Ai but after some time we will see the talks of Ai ethics in learning sky rocket, then level out. I am excited to see how the funding and timing of it all plays out.

Implementing Ai within my daily life is easy. I use Ai to help me study, build guidelines and day to day questions outside of my education. My final project dives in Ai being a classroom tool for educators and students. Utilizing and learning how to use Ai has opened my mind on the subject. I see the pros and cons of using GenAI. In my opinion th pros outweigh the cons, it will just take time and education for Ai to hit its peak. Like I said, Im excited to see where GenAI leads us.

  1. I agree with your point that AI is here to stay, and its influence and use will most likely only increase. If the K-12 level of education can learn how to use AI early and ethically, then we are setting ourselves up for greater technological gains in the future.

  2. Hi Jones,
As a future teacher I’m very excited to learn about your project on AI as a classroom tool for educators and students! I’m hoping you can give me some specific ideas on how to implement AI ethically in my classes!

  3. Yes, I feel like AI in K-12 education would definitely become a game changer, and I agree that how we teach students to use it ethically will be just as important as the tool itself. It’s exciting to imagine how this could increase learning opportunities, especially if we can be aware of access and responsibility while using it.

  4. I really like your positive outlook on AI in education. It’s true that AI isn’t going anywhere, so learning how to use it responsibly is super important. You’re also right that kids will probably push the limits at first, but bringing ethics into the conversation early can help shape how it’s used long-term. I’m curious to see how that bill actually plays out in schools.
