Gabrielle’s Introduction

Heyaaa, I’m Gabrielle, but everyone calls me Gabby (she/ her). I love making TikToks–especially vlogs–playing Roblox, and anything pink and girly, from makeup to shopping sprees. One of my many dreams is to become an influencer. This is probably not an important fact, but I love anything vanilla, cookies, or cinnamon scented. AI can make everyday tasks easier when used ethically, but if misused, it can hinder creativity and critical thinking.

Nicole Chirinos introduction

Hi, my name is Nicole, I’m from Brazil, I use she/her pronouns and I plan to major in physics. I love sports, dancing, animals and music. I am taking this class because I want to work with research in the field and I believe that the world is developing to a point where knowing how to use AI will be a requirement and a tool to succeed, and I wanna learn how to use it wisely. I think that AI has become a part of our lives already and it’s been developing a lot.

Derrick Jones – Class Introduction!

My name is Derrick, but, my teammates call me DJ. I prefer Derrick but DJ is fine too. I am a second year GMDS major and I am very interested in the use of AI since we are the generation that is experimenting on it the most. I am interested in learning how to use AI as a tool and not an exploit. Since learning how to use Ai ethically my academics have benefited from it, so im even more excited to learn more. I enjoy lifting and spending time with my friends and teammates. And I’m ready to finish the year strong and learn how to utilize Ai.

Astrid Kristl Introduction

Hello,

I’m Astrid, and I go by the pronouns she/her/hers. I’m enrolled in the teacher education program for the subjects of English and psychology/philosophy/ethics at Vienna University. Here in Wooster, I’m a teaching assistant for German and also attend classes as a student. In my free time, I enjoy baking and going on hikes, and I also love exploring coffeehouses with my family and friends.

Regarding AI, I would like to mention that, as I feel it is becoming ever more important and intertwined with our daily lives, Iā€™d rather learn to use it efficiently and ethically than neglect it altogether.

Clio Sweeney Forsthoefel – Introduction

Hi everyone! I’m Clio, I am from Columbus, Ohio. I use she/her pronouns. I’m a sophomore here at The College of Wooster, but transferred at the beginning of last fall semester. I plan to graduate with a major in Communication Studies and a minor in Spanish. Outside of school, I love traveling, meeting new people, spending time outdoors, and expressing my creativity! Lately, I’ve noticed A.I. becoming a bigger part of my daily life, which is why I’m taking this course. I want to learn how to effectively and ethically use AI, but also how to recognize it’s influence.
