I think AI is a powerful tool with valuable applications in academics and beyond. However, I believe AI is currently overhyped, with many companies pushing its use for unnecessary reasons.
Hi Yoshi! I agree for the most part with your assessment that AI is overhyped, especially when a lot of the current applications of AI are ChatGPT with a company specific interface wrapped around it.
Yoshi, I love your statements about the idea of AI being “overhyped”. Why do you think companies are pushing this kind of agenda, and do you think that it is reasonable for them to push AI production like they currently are?
